Hanna Andersson announced a new executive hire on May 20, bringing on Mike Frazzini as the apparel brand’s new chief technology officer. Frazzini’s career includes more than 25 years in technology and leadership roles. He most recently worked as technology chief of staff at the floral marketplace FTD.
In addition, Frazzini brings familiarity and experience with Hanna Andersson to his new role. He served on its board for four years prior to accepting the new position.
Hanna Andersson Corp. ranks No. 465 in the Top 1000. The database is Digital Commerce 360’s ranking of the largest North American online retailers. The company appears in the Apparel & Accessories category. FTD ranks No. 73 and is classified in the Flowers & Gifts category.
Frazzini joins Hanna Andersson’s executive team
“I am thrilled to begin this new adventure with such a dedicated and talented team — for such an amazing brand,” Frazzini wrote on LinkedIn following Hanna Andersson’s announcement. “After 4+ years of the privilege of serving on Hanna Andersson’s board, I consider myself very lucky to get the opportunity to now serve Hanna as CTO.”
He will report directly to Hanna Andersson CEO Aimée Lapic, according to details released by the company. As chief technology officer, he will be in charge of developing the technology to enable ecommerce growth for the brand. In addition, he will be responsible for marketing technology, back-end technology operations and data infrastructure.
Frazzini’s background
Frazzini’s career includes leadership roles and oversight of software products, systems integrations, ecommerce solutions, business intelligence, ERP, finance and operations, according to Hanna Andersson’s announcement.
At FTD, he was the principal advisor to the chief technology officer for technology vision, architecture, craft, process and organization structure matters. In addition, he served as chief of data science and insight products at the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered low code software developer Iterate.ai. Meanwhile, his ecommerce work extends to eBags.com, where he was chief technology officer and senior vice president of operations.
He joins a leadership team at Hanna Andersson that recently added Beats by Dre and Gap veteran Grace Wong as chief brand officer. The children- and family-focused clothing brand focuses on fun brand experiences in its pajamas, partnerships and beyond, with offerings also including adult and pet products.
